Otar Gogolishvili

Born 1957. Graduate the Faculty of Humanities majoring in history and foreign languages (German) of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State Pedagogical Institute (1979). Candidate dissertation entitled "Social and Political Situation in Adjara in 1900-1910" and honor academic degree of the candidate of historical sciences (1993). PhD dissertation entitled "Social and national Movement in the South-West Georgia in the first third of the 20^th century" (2002).

Published 5 monographs and 60 scholarly works.

Major research interests: New and Modern History of Georgia, Europe, Russia and Caucasus countries.
