Maia Gurgenidze

Maia Gurgenidze was born in 1966 in Tbilisi. In 1989 she graduated from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (the Faculty of Western European Languages and Literature). Maia Gurgenidze worked at the Chair of the English Philology at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 1994-2007. Nowadays she works at Language Centre of the same university.
In 1999 Maia Gurgenidze defended the candidate dissertation entitled “Poem versus Verse”. She published articles in the sphere of philology.
