Apolon Tabuashvili
Apolon Tabuashvili was born in 1981. In 2002 he graduated from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (the Faculty of History). In 2004 Apolon Tabuashvili was awarded an academic degree of Master (specialization – The History of Georgia). In 2010 he defended PhD dissertation entitled “Economic conceptions of Erekle II and reforms for modernization of the management of the country”.In 2008 A. Tabuashvili won the contest for young scientists announced by the Georgian National Scientific Foundation (the theme: “The experiment of the East European countries and the policy of Erekle II. Publication of the historical documents of the second half of the 18th century”)
Current position: an Assistant-professor of the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (since 2010).
Major Research Interests: The history of Georgia of the late feudal period.
Publications: 2 monographs and 14 scientific papers.
