Born in 1962. In 1979-1984 she studied at the Faculty of Philology of I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University . Candidate dissertation entitled "Georgian Vocabulary in the Russian Lexicography" (1993) and doctoral PhD dissertation entitled "Structural and semantic peculiarities of newspaper and television advertising". Holder of President Scholarship. Awarded academic degree of Professor (2001) .
Published several monographs, textbooks and over 20 scientific works.
Major research interests: study of translation, methods of teaching Russian language.
