Vakhtang Shamugia

Vakhtang Shamugia graduated from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2012 (BA in Journalism and Mass Communication). Afterwards, he became a student of MA program in Conflict Management and Analysis of the Faculty of Business and Engineering at Georgian Technical University. In 2014 Vakhtang Shamugia defended MA thesis entitled “The Role of Religion in the Caucasian Conflicts”. Nowadays, he is PhD student of Doctoral Program in History of the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2017 he published the book “Transnistrian Conflict”.
