Salome Jamburia
Salome Jamburia is a PhD student at the programme of Archaeology-Paleoanthropology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She is a winner of the “Grants for PhD Studies 2017” of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. Salome Jamburia holds a Master’s Degree in Cultural Heritage Studies from the University College London along with MA and BA Degrees in Archaeology from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State Uni-versity. She has over a 5-year working experience in the domain of cultural heritage at the national and international levels. Her international working experience is related to the leading organizations in the field of heritage, such as ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites, Paris) – an advisory body of UNESCO; English Heritage (London, UK) and Cambridge Archaeological Unit (UK). Currently, she is working at the Culture De-partment at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia.
