Esma Kunchulia
EsmaKunchulia is a doctoral student at the Institute of Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (supervisor - Nino Chikovani, Doctor of Historical Sciences).The topic of EsmaKunchulia’s qualification thesis is the importance of national cuisine in the collective memory and identity of the nation. EsmaKunchulia's research interests include a person’s perception of the outside world through the 5 senses, the impact of taste and smell reception on the formation of the collective memory, and the importance of a collection of anonymous recipes, “national cuisine” in national identity.
