gvantsa popkhadze

Since 2018 Gvantsa Popkhadze has been a PhD student of Classical Philology of the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Gvantsa Popkhadze has the experience of working on the Latin texts. During her undergraduate studies she translated "The Consolation of Philosophy" by Boethius, while during the doctoral studies she translated "Medea" by Seneca. Gvantsa Popkhadze was awarded the grant for translating Baruch Spinoza's "Ethics" by Dutch Foundation for Literature. Currently, she is translating Ptolemy's "Tetrabiblos" from ancient Greek. Her doctoral thesis covers the same work. Gvantsa Popkhadze has actively participated in the conferences. She published several scientific articles.
