Mary Samakashvili

Mary Samakashvili is a student of the Doctoral Program of Philology (direction - Literary Relations) of the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She was awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of Philology (specialization - English Philology) and the academic degree of Master of Philology (specialization - Translation Studies) by the same university. Mary Samakashvili currently researches the history and ideology of the American literary and social movement of the 20th century - the Beat Generation - and the work of its prominent member and one of its encouragers, Allen Ginsberg.
